A physical control layer

Control everything.
Without touching anything.

A wearable ring for devices, apps, and systems.
One motion. Real feedback. No screen required.

V2 hardware complete · Electronics tested · Distribution: KnoxLabs · Ships Q3 2026

The Concept

Not a smart ring.
Not a sensor.
A physical control interface
for digital systems.

Gesture input guesses. Cameras misread. Voice fails in a noisy room.
PAIRING uses physical rotation — you feel every step. One motion. Every device.

Use cases

Wherever you need
real control.

02

Music & creation

Tactile knob for DAWs, mixers, plugins. 36 detents per turn.

03

Presentations

Advance slides, control pace. Worn — never dropped.

04

Television

No more remote. Volume, channels, menus — at your fingertip.

05

Automotive

Eyes on the road. Hand on the wheel. Control without looking.

07

Games

A new analog axis. Precise. Instant. Worn.

08

Accessibility

Single-motion control for people who can’t use touchscreens reliably.

The Product

Machined. Weighted. Worn.
Not a controller you hold.
A layer you wear.

For developers

Build your own
interaction layer.

PAIRING fires rotation events the way a mouse fires clicks. No gesture recognition. No machine learning errors. Integrate once.

The alternative

Why not gesture,
voice, or touch?

Each existing approach breaks down exactly where precision matters most.
PAIRING fills the gap they all leave open.

Alternative 01

Gesture control

Works well in demos. In practice: hand position fatigue after 90 seconds, zero tactile confirmation, and cameras fail in poor light. You never know if the gesture registered until you look at the screen.

Alternative 02

Voice commands

Great when you’re alone. Fails in open offices, public spaces, and any situation where speaking is disruptive. Privacy problem. Latency problem. Not silent, not discreet.

Alternative 03

Touchpad / touch

Requires a surface and your eyes. Moving between screen and trackpad breaks flow. No absolute position. In AR/XR there is no surface at all — touch simply doesn’t translate.

Questions

Common questions

When exactly does it ship?
Targeted Q3 2026. If we miss that window, pre-orders and family round participants get a full refund — no questions, no hoops. The V2 hardware is complete; we are in electronics validation and supplier qualification now.
What devices does it work with?
iOS 17+, Android 12+, Windows 11, macOS 14+, visionOS 2. Game engine SDKs for Unity and Unreal Engine are in beta. A developer API ships with V1 firmware — any platform that supports BLE or USB HID can integrate.
Is the $200 charged today?
No. Pre-ordering places a reservation only. Payment is collected 6 weeks before the first units ship, when we have confirmed production timelines. You can cancel and be fully refunded any time before that charge.
What sizes are available?
Small, Medium, and Large — covering ring sizes 6 through 13 (US). A full sizing guide ships with confirmation emails. If the first unit doesn’t fit, we replace it free within the first 90 days.
Is this just a scroll wheel?
The detents feel similar but the output is fundamentally different. The ring exposes a 360° continuous encoder, two haptic motors, and a pressure axis — giving software a three-dimensional physical input with programmable resistance and feedback. No scroll wheel does that.
Do I need to install software?
For basic HID (scroll, click, volume) — no install needed. For full SDK access and custom mappings, a lightweight daemon runs in the background (<1 MB RAM). Open-source under MIT.
